The black pieces create a stunning contrast with the warm orange-brown color of the mahogany. This is an inlaid chess board with the finest wood veneers and is handcrafted to exacting standards. The board is sealed in a satin polyurethane finish to protect the wood. An extra wide frame adds substantial size to the chess board and provides enough room for sitting captured pieces while a black inlay border creates a sharp delineation surrounding the playing area. The squares are 2.25" and the board measures 21" overall. Our New Exclusive is an excellent choice for the game at home!
