Excellent Chess Pieces
For my board with 2” squares, these pieces look wonderful! In fact, I think they look even better in person than the pictures online.

Nice set at a great price
I have the version of this set with a 3'' King and am very happy with that, so I decided to go with the 3.5'' version when I needed a larger set for serious games. This set has a very nice design and is approximately double-weighted (just a guess based on the fact that it's not as heavy as quad-weighted set I have but is also much heavier than an unweighted set I have), which makes it excellent for tournament or causal play. The ebonized black pieces were uniform in color and all thoroughly stained. This is a much better set than expected at this price point and I couldn't be happier with it.

NEB350VC review
After receiving a very nice 20" chessboard (with 2" borders - actual board size is 16") as a gift, I was on a mission to find the perfect pieces to fit it. Mission accomplished. This set it beautiful. It is perfectly sized for my board. The pieces are gorgeous, and have a very nice feel to them. I have always been a fan of the Staunton look, and this set is better looking than anything even remotely close to its price-point. Top it off with very quick shipping and email notices to keep me in the loop, and I feel very happy about my purchase. Highly recommended.

I, have been around the world a time or two, and I, must say, I have not seen a better 3.5 Staunton Chessmen. The Knights are the best I have seen, Handcrafted in India, home, and Mother of the game of chess. And being a artist, I look for quality workmen ship in the things I like. If you like a Chess Set you can show off, and play with, then this is it. for the money, you will not do better.
