This attractive chess case is the ideal choice for combining a chess board with a way of storing chess pieces when you're not playing a game. This exterior of the case is made from solid wood with an elegant molded edge design that incorporates a graceful curve and a three row beaded section at the top. The chess board is made from high quality walnut and maple veneer and has a decorative black inlaid border to delineate the playing area. There are two drawers, opposite of the playing position for those who prefer not to have a drawer in front while playing. The drawers completely pull out to make it easy to take pieces out or put them away and there are individual compartments for 32 pieces.
