Our loose-piece chess box is a great way for storing plastic or wooden chess pieces. The box is made from heavy chipboard (cardboard) and covered on the outside with an attractive black leather-like paper and our logo in gold foil. It has two compartments for separating the pieces and a full telescoping lid the full height of the box so it securely stays on. The overall size is 7" x 5" x 3" and will hold most smaller sets like our Master Series or Club Series Plastic sets with a 3.75" king. More bulky sets will require the large box. The chess box offers an affordable and attractive way to store your chess pieces.

Chess Store 2 small box
Both my silicone pieces as well as my vintage pieces fit in the small boxes. Depending on the size of king, queen, bishops and rooks, the larger box may make storage easier. I do like the gilded logo and store names on the box.

Exceptional product
I love the feel of the Pieces along with the weight and size. A great travel set, but still retains a panache and class. There is nothing wrong with plastic PCs, but I prefer wooden PCs that represent the elegance and class of the game.

Nice neat little box for a small set
This isn't a decorative box, like the big wooden one I have for my large set. It's perfect for my 2 3/4" set though. Plenty of space for the pieces. The pieces are loose in the box -- for a nice wooden set you wouldn't want to toss this box into a bag and carry it around with the pieces rattling around. But the box is perfect for organizing your small set.

Great storage box
Great storage box for my german knight chess set. The pieces do all fit barely, sometimes you have to organize some at the top for the box to fully close. If you would rather avoid this problem I would suggest to go with the medium sized box.

Fits bill perfectly for one of my smaller plastic sets. Much more convenient than keeping them in a large sandwich bag that they. Have to give it 5 starsshipped in. Chess box is excellent.
