This is a regulation size set with a 3.75" tall king and is ideal for schools, clubs, and tournament chess games. The pieces are made from a durable, glossy plastic which makes a nice contrast against the brown and buff chess board. Pieces have green felt paper pads and 2 extra queens are included for pawn promotion. The board has 2.25" squares and alpha-numeric notation along the sides to help record moves during the game.
