It was time to upgrade the chess pieces that came with a board/set from a big box store. This set is frankly a gigantic upgrade. The quality/price ratio is superb, and these particular pieces are compact enough to fit nicely even on a smaller/fold up board. A++

Beautiful Rosewood! This set came well wrapped and shipped quickly. The quality of the hand-carving is excellent. Pieces are weighted well and felt-bottomed.
