These pieces are magnificent. Delivered in 3 days from the USA to Vancouver BC Canada in a box (not fancy but I will use for storage/moving needs) with each piece in it's own compartment and foam for protection.
The center body is a random swirl pattern giving each a unique look, just like a fingerprint. The heavy(er) weight feels good in my hand and perfect size for my 2.2" board squares.
Bottoms look fancy too! Red seal padding with logo and "Made in Italy".
My first purchase with The Chess Store. I called the store beforehand and Alicia was very helpful. Answered all my questions and also provided pictures (emailed) of a sample set at the store. I wanted real pics with reference to another object/ruler to have an actual visual. The advert pics look too "studio like" at times.
