Isle Lewis Chessmen & Complete Sets

Since the movie Harry Potter the Isle of Lewis chess set has become one of the most popular selling historical chess sets of all time. These chess pieces and complete sets from Studio Anne Carlton are replicas based on the famous set of chess pieces found on the Island of Lewis back around the year 1831. The pieces are believed to originate from Scandinavia and currently reside in the British Museum.
