The rich ebony-black finish offers the elegant look of genuine ebony, beautifully contrasted by creamy natural boxwood pieces. The 3.75" king with a 1.5" base provides excellent stability and presence, making this set ideal for both casual play and competitive games.
Each piece is heavily weighted, finished with a polished lacquer for durability, and fitted with green baize pads for smooth, quiet movement. Two extra queens are included for pawn promotion.
