Elm root is unique and colorful with brown and orange colors that intermingle creating irregular patterns. A wide black inlay defines the playing area while contrasting richly against the colors of the briar burl and maple. An extra wide frame gives the board visual balance. This chess board is an excellent choice for contrasting against ebony chess pieces but nearly any chess set will look stunning on this board.
