Our Deluxe Old Club Carry-All Plastic Chess Set pairs black and aged-ivory chess pieces with our Club Vinyl Rollup Chess Board and Carry-All Chess Bag. Inspired by our longtime favorite Deluxe Old Club wood pieces, this affordable set brings traditional Staunton styling to tournament play and everyday games. The regulation-size pieces feature a 3.75-inch king with a broad 1.7-inch base for a balanced, substantial feel. Thick green felt pads help the pieces move quietly across the board, and two extra queens are included for pawn promotion. The durable Club Vinyl Rollup Chess Board has solid black squares, lies flat when unrolled, and wipes clean easily. It measures 20 inches overall, with 2.25-inch squares and alphanumeric notation along the edges to help record moves.
Our Carry-All Chess Bag is large enough to hold regulation-size pieces along with rollup chess board, chess clock, scorebooks, and other accessories. Inside you'll find two zippered compartments for holding chess pieces, loops to restrain a rollup chess board, a padded pocket for holding a chess clock, and pockets for scorebooks and pencils. It has both a handle and shoulder strap for easy carrying. Made from a high quality canvas, it's durable and can be washed if needed. Meeting US Chess Federation tournament size requirements, this complete chess set is a practical choice for chess clubs, schools, tournaments, travel, and games at home.
