This plastic chess set includes our Standard Club Series with black and ivory color pieces matched with our Club Vinyl Rollup Chess Board. Our Standard Club is a regulation size chess set with a 3.75” tall king and a base diameter of 1.5”. The pieces are made of a high-quality durable plastic and are virtually indestructible. The pieces have green felt paper pads and we include two extra queens for pawn promotion. The chess board is made from a pliable vinyl and will withstand the rigors of travel and frequent play. The board has 2.25” squares, measures 20” overall, and has alphanumeric notation on the sides to help record moves during the game. This chess set meets all US Chess Federation tournament requirements and is a terrific choice for schools, clubs, tournaments, or the casual chess game at home.

    Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the set. Was a bit apprehensive about the board laying flat but it is fine. I bought the set for chess problems and scenarios and it is perfect for that application. Thanks for providing an inexpensive, quality product.

    Decent For a Very Good Price

    Don't think you can beat the value on this set. Pieces are molded and some may have miniscule defects, but the set is less than 12 dollars. Everything was included just like the description says. The mat had a strong plastic odor at first, but it's quickly dissipating. Pieces are solid and won't get scattered by a stray sleeve. The cat has been knocking them around, but they're sturdy enough to take a beating after falling on the floor (no chips). Also extremely portable. Overall, I would recommend this as a very good beginner's set option that will likely withstand lifetimes of play if cared for.

    love the chess mat, it is a lot bigger than I am used to but the product is really nice. The mat is a great size and really easy to travel with. I honestly felt a large difference when playing with this chess set and I really enjoy using it for matches. Certainly recommend this product to anyone has has about 2ft^2 or larger table and anyone who is going to play chess in a lot of different places.

    Packaged good! All pieces were there! Nicer than what I originally thought it would be for the GREAT price that I paid for. Overall this product exceeded my expectations.
