    I bought it for the knight. He has a spirited look about him. Heavy enough and well balanced. I have the pieces out now as my regular study set. Great value.

    The set is exactly as described by your website, and a very good bang for my buck. Thank you. However, I should have gone for the next higher price set, as that one was double weighted, but this was my fault.

    This set is much higher quality than what I thought it would be. The pieces are weighted, and felt bottomed. Actually, I had no idea these would be as nice as they are. The touch and feel of moving pieces is as important as a 4-move strategy!! And, at a very reasonable price. I am pleased with my purchase.

    Spent a long time looking for a nice solid plastic set and this was exactly what I was looking for.The look and feel of high end plastic pieces. Would love more color scheme options though.

    I really enjoy this set, decent in size and weight and the knights surprised me on how beefy they actually are and how they stand on the board with a commanding presence. The coronations on the queen are a bit more pronounced but not a problem to handle because they are slightly rounded off and that's ideal when playing any type of chess game format. The king is majestic and the rook is intimidating. The sandal pieces appear more as a grayish sand color but nonetheless a good match with the matte finish, always a plus when having to stare down pieces for any given time. I want to obtain the ivory white set of this model as well. With me, you can never have too many chess sets, I guess it's an addiction or just plainly the love I have for the game. Looking forward to obtain a few chess bags with the chess store logo when they are available on this website as well. Good job Chess Store personnel! Thank you and Best Regards...Jorge from NYC.
