I ordered this for my granddaughter who has just learned how to play chess. I wanted a nice but not too expensive set for her. I am well pleased with this purchase-it is plastic but heavy, a nice size, and has felt on the bottom of each piece. A great value for my money! And I received it within a few days!

This is a fine set all around: good looking, excellent quality, no flaws. It has a bit of weight to it, and the sandal pieces are a nice matte color: not too orange or too yellow like some plastic sets are. They arrived quickly, and were very well packed. I would definitely recommend this set.
