    BrioBoard Burlap-print vinyl chess board

Posted by Denis on 12th Jul 2023

So, I decided to try a couple of different but not too crazy chess boards from this company. I would say that the backing is interesting. It reminds me of vinyl patch material. Its thinner than your typical vinyl board and, based on short usage, it seems less prone to retaining the rolled-up shape. While it is a fun design, I'm not sure I like the feel. Now, if you're trying to jazz things up for some kids, they have a lot of crazy designs and I think they do custom mascot prints for schools. But on the whole, I think I prefer mousepad boards for the roll-up category.
