The chess set looks great and I love it, but the only problem is the metal weights, some of them are not all the way inside, and it makes some of them rock a little.

Nice heavy solid pieces, just what I was wanting. Got them to teach my young child the game, and didn't want some lightweight plastic things, These would be great for anyone wanting a great set of pieces that are solid and heavy. I would buy again

Nice Staunton pieces
I have always wanted an expensive Staunton chess set, complete with masterly carved wooden pieces, a beautiful chess table with an intricate inlaid board and formed storage. But, alas, fulfilling that dream was beyond my purchasing power. So, I decided on this plastic set. I am very pleased with the choice. The pieces are quite nice; large, love the 3.8 size king, well-weighted and the detailing is excellent. The Knight with the warrior expression is my favorite. The Chess Store kept me posted with the delivery, received the set with 5 days. For $15.00 + $5.00 shipping... it is a decent bargain with good value.

Executive set is a pleasure to play with
This is an awesome set for the price. The pieces are big and heavy enough for blitz and tournament play but without being too heavy to carry around. The weights are perfectly balanced with the size of the pieces which resemble a most authentic Staunton design. Excellent !!!
