Took a chance and bought 10 sets sight unseen. Pieces have a great feel and weight to them. Just what I had hoped they would be. And at a great price!

Excellent finish. Feared possible flashing left from plastic molding process, but none present. Weighting appropriate and comfortable. Debating whether to give this set to grandson (as I had planned) or to keep it and give him my 60+ year old wood set. Close call, but no, I'll go with the planned gift.

I am satisfied with this set. It has the same appearance as the non weighted sets, but costs twice as much? It is a nice set though, and you get the extra queens, which is nice. I thought it would come in a box, but it came in plastic baggies.

Use quality heavy duty pieces
Just got tired of using lightweight plastic that was very brittle and broke when falling off of tournament tables.
