This is an excellent set for the price, pieces appear pretty durable.
Two minor "nit picks"
1. I wish the base fabric was a bit thicker, but I can fix that myself in time.
2. One of the rooks and a couple of pawns have small holes in them, not sure what happened there.
Overall though I am pleased with the purchase.

Nice & heavy! Great for club & tourneys. Only problem is getting the extra queens in my (20 year) old chess bag. ;)

I'm so glad the chess store had these colors available. I've been looking for months and I just had to order them. The size of the pieces are just right for the floppy boards. The Weight of the set feels Double Weighted, and is perfect for any type of game, especially if your the type to slam pieces. Best $20 bucks I've ever spent.
